D.G. Meyer,
Inc. recently was awarded the Carrier Distinguished Dealer award
for 2000. The annual award recognizes dealers that exemplify Carrier's
model for delivering heating and cooling products and services that
meet quality, comfort and performance expectations.
D.G.
Meyer is a first time recipient of the award. Out of over 8,000
Carrier dealerships, about 350 from across the country participated
in the rigorous assessment process. Fourteen dealers were chosen
to the final round and nine received the award. Three of those were
from Florida. The Carrier Distinguished Dealer process does not
prescribe specific goals and conduct; rather it is designed to encourage
self-analysis to incite new ideas for building and refining best
practices for business improvement and success.
"This year's
CDD recipients exemplify the tenacity for delivering exceptional
customer value, as well as successfully and appropriately positioning
the Carrier brand in their respective marketplaces," said RLCS
President Frank Hartman. "Not only did the dealers meet the
stringent standards set forth in the CDD Program, they also survived
a site visit by Carrier management and an extensive audit of their
dealership's business plan."
Each of these
dealers exhibited unsurpassed qualifications in the areas of leadership
and management, customer relationships, brand recognition, expertise
and operational excellence. Their exceptional achievements in providing
quality, comfort, and performance exceeded the expectations of their
customers. Those accomplishments, in turn contributed to the development,
growth, strength and success of their operations.
